Griffins Hold Seventh Place after Two Rounds at the CACC Golf Championship

The Chestnut Hill College Men's golf team is currently in seventh place after two rounds at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Golf Championship at White Clay Creek Country Club in Wilmington, Delaware.

The Griffins have a team score of 671 through the first two rounds after producing a second round score of 345 to go along with their 326 from the first round.  Post university sits in first place with a score of 628.

Rogelio Gerena is currently the top Griffin in the field shooting 81 on the day to give him a  two round total of 161 (+17).  He sits in a tie for 14th place. Kiefer Sharman is four strokes behind Gerena with a score of 165 (82, 83) and tied for 23rd place overall. 

Hugo Almeida sits in 27th place with a two-round total of 169 after shooting an 87 on Monday.  Jack Bulman rounds out the Griffins top four scorers with a score of 176 as he struggled on the day shooting a score of 94 .

Trevor Dendler rounds out the Griffin competitors, shooting a 95 on Monday to give him a two-day total of 182.

The final round of the championship begins tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. with the Griffins teeing off in the first group of teams.
