Biography

FRESHMAN (2008) – Kochu was recognized as an honorable mention for shortstop on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Conference team after batting .282 (40-for-142) with 11 runs-batted-in (RBI) and 19 stolen bases.
 
SOPHOMORE (2009) – A team-leading .349 (51-for-146) batting average, 32 RBI, and 21 stolen bases earned Kochu his second consecutive honorable mention for the CACC All-Conference Team. Overall, Kochu led the Griffins in five offensive categories while starting all 42 contests he played in at shortstop.  He was recognized with the Coach’s Award at the annual Athletic Awards Reception.
 
JUNIOR (2010) – Kochu served as co-captain with Mike Knipe and D.J. Santoro, helping to lead the Griffins to their first CACC Championship Tournament appearance. He batted .205 (23-for-112) with 13 RBI and 19 stolen bases.
