Biography

FRESHMAN (2008) – Etherton earned 2nd Team All-CACC status in his freshman campaign after leading the Griffins in batting (.403, 50-for-124) and slugging (.516). He also recorded 21 runs-batted-in (RBI) and 17 stolen bases through 41 games and 38 starts, primarily as an outfielder. He was a two-time CACC Rookie of the Week and a one-time honorable mention.
 
SOPHOMORE (2009) – Etherton followed his brilliant rookie season with a .296 (34-for-115) batting average. He made 37 starts in 38 contests as the Griffins left fielder, while logging 22 RBI and 11 stolen bases.  Etherton was mentioned as in Collegiate Baseball Magazine as an East Region “Player to Watch”.
 
JUNIOR (2010) – Etherton returned to an All-CACC caliber of play, this time garnering First Team recognition with a .324 (44-for-136) batting average, 18 RBI, and 14 stolen bases. He returned to centerfield and saw some time in right field, starting all 37 contests he participated in. Etherton was a member of the 2010 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Spring Academic Honor Roll.
